4 fourths

The violin appeared during the 16th century as the evolution of the fiddle, the Italian lira da braccio and Rebek. Its modern form is mostly inspired from Italy, where great manufacturing families such as the Amati, Guarneri and Stradivari created instruments of exceptional sound which are considered unsurpassable even today.

It is made with maple and fir wood. Its body is comprised of 10 identical pieces for the perfect result.

The varnishing of a violin is considered an important procedure and is of great secrecy for every instrument manufacturer.
